At The Fitzgerald of Palisades, a Kisco Signature Living Community, dining is about more than just having a meal; it is a form of social currency. Dining brings people together, sparks conversation, and creates lasting memories. The dining experience is designed to be just as socially enriching as it is nutritionally, ensuring that every detail, from the atmosphere to the menu and service, contributes to a one-of-a-kind culinary journey.

The culinary experience at The Fitzgerald engages the senses, allowing community members to meet new people, explore new flavors, and interact directly with the culinary team. Members can choose from various on-site restaurants with distinctive dining atmospheres. For fine dining experiences, those who call The Fitzgerald home can choose between Promenade, a nature-inspired formal dining room, and Boulevard, a modern and intimate upscale dining space.

For something quick and delicious, Streetcar Café features a premium coffee bar with a skilled barista and light café fare. Zelda’s Lounge, inspired by the 1920s Art Deco era, is the perfect place for patrons to unwind with cocktails, a glass of wine, and an assortment of small bites. There are also dedicated dining rooms for Assisted Living and Memory Care community members, where they can receive the assistance they need while still enjoying a high-scale dining experience. In addition to the main dining rooms, private dining rooms are available for celebrations and dinner parties.

Members can get a five-star experience that feels authentic to the region. The culinary team curates a perfect menu inspired by local favorites and fresh seasonal ingredients from the Palisades’ famous Farmers’ Market. The culinary team plans to incorporate personal recipes from residents into the menu, balancing the community’s preferences with Kisco’s nutrition standards and input from professional dietitians. Individuals in Assisted Living and Memory Care can enjoy the same dining options as those in independent living but can request meal modifications to accommodate their dietary needs.

At The Fitzgerald, the members are the inspiration behind everything. Food & Beverage Director Edgar Jimenez and Executive Chef Elizabeth Reyes, who together have over 20 years of experience in senior living hospitality, are deeply committed to creating a dining program that feels personal, thoughtful, and engaging. They strive to provide the best for the community because they deserve it. The Food & Beverage Director even plans to dine alongside members to gather real-time feedback, share conversations, and continuously refine the experience.  Jimenez shares, “I want to sit down and have a meal with the members at least twice a year to get to know them and make sure the food is up to the community’s standards.” More plans to keep the dining resident-centric include implementing kitchen demonstrations of favorite meals and a rotating dining community of members where the culinary team can gather feedback on the food and adjust accordingly.

The servers are trained under Forbes Travel Guide’s hospitality excellence standards, anticipating members’ needs to create seamless, memorable interactions. Whether it is an anniversary, birthday, or a regular Tuesday dinner, every interaction will be unique and personalized to guests’ preferences.

What sets The Fitzgerald apart is its commitment to creating new experiences and keeping the dining member driven. The culinary team balances tradition, nutrition, and creativity by offering an ever-evolving menu that feels both familiar and exciting. With daily specials, expansive menus, and multiple venues available, those who dine at the restaurants will never tire of the same options. Every dining moment at The Fitzgerald is an opportunity to connect, savor, and indulge.
