As the golden days of summer give way to the vibrant hues of September, it is with great joy and heartfelt gratitude that I introduce myself to you. I am Gia Aron, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant General Manager of The Fitzgerald of Palisades. This is a thrilling time for all of us as we eagerly anticipate the completion of our new community, and I want to extend my deepest thanks to each of you for your trust and unwavering support during this exciting journey. Your belief in The Fitzgerald is the foundation upon which we are building a truly remarkable and unique living experience.
In my role, I will be deeply immersed in all aspects of hospitality services, with a keen focus on member engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction. I am here to support both the Art of Living Well Department and Culinary Services, and I have the privilege of managing the Welcome Home Experience initiative. My mission is to ensure that your experience with us is nothing short of extraordinary.

A little about myself, I hail from the vibrant and beautiful country of Panamá and grew up near Fort Benning, Georgia, where my father served in the U.S. Army. My journey led me to Georgia State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Administration. My career in hospitality and tourism has been a rich tapestry, woven with experiences at esteemed brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood. Since joining the Kisco Senior Living family in October 2020, I have devoted myself to advancing my knowledge in Gerontology, driven by a passion for crafting unforgettable experiences and building lasting relationships.
I recently moved to the remarkable city of Washington, DC, with my partner. We share our home with a wonderful 10-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog named Paisley, whom I hope you all will meet soon. We also have a rambunctious five-month-old rescue puppy named Astro who will need a bit more time before he’s ready for any introductions. I am filled with excitement to embark on this new chapter and look forward to connecting with all of you!

As we move into September, I would like to remind you of some key details from last month’s letter from our General Manager, Alphonso Westley II. We are eagerly anticipating our Red Carpet Speaker Series® on September 10th, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the esteemed journalist Martha Raddatz. Please remember to RSVP if you haven’t already. This event promises to be an unforgettable evening, complete with refreshments, live music, and a special opportunity for First Key Society members to receive a signed copy of Martha’s latest book.
Additionally, I want to reiterate a few common inquiries regarding design and structural customizations of your residences. While customizations cannot begin until the building is officially handed over and we receive our certificate of use and occupancy, we have a streamlined process in place to help you bring your vision to life. For those interested in making customizations, please request a Customization Request Form. Once your request is approved, you will receive a Residence Customization Agreement for completion, along with the necessary documentation to ensure that your customization process is smooth and efficient.
As we embark on this exciting new phase, I want you to know that my support is always available to you. Your experience at The Fitzgerald is my top priority, and I am here to ensure that it is nothing short of exceptional. Together, we will create a community that stands as a testament to elegance, warmth, and the highest standards of service.
