ABOUT THE FITZGERALD OF PALISADES

The Fitzgerald is a boutique retirement community tucked within Washington D.C.’s historic and charming Palisades neighborhood, offering spacious independent and assisted living residences and memory care suites. The community opened in summer 2025.

The Fitzgerald drew design inspiration from local Art Deco landmarks, including the Glen Echo Amusement Park, MacArthur Theater and the historic Kennedy-Warren residential building. In collaboration with renowned partners Trammell Crow, Perkins Eastman and Pembrooke and Ives, the project features architecture and interiors reflective of the city’s most distinguished Art Deco homes.

The Fitzgerald offers an array of Kisco Signature amenities such as personalized 24/7 concierge services, fine dining and casual restaurants and the Art Deco-inspired Zelda’s Lounge, where members gather for regular social hours. The expansive Life Enrichment program includes a full monthly calendar of intellectual programming, group fitness classes and special events, all complemented by state-of-the-art facilities ranging from a saltwater pool and spa to a fitness center and yoga studio.

Health services encompass on-site nursing and wellness monitoring, rehabilitation services (fees apply), physician offices, an on-site PT clinic, a 24-hour emergency response system and access to dietician services.
